One of the really cool things about on-line forum
Is that all 9 candidates can "talk" at the same time and thus we get to actually hear more from each of them in 2 hours than we would in person. I'm also glad that all 9 are still actively participating in this process and providing their perspectives.

Kirk's tax question: for any candidate to pledge no increase, guarantee a raise and provide the amount only demonstrates a lack of understanding of the budget process. There could be a small raise if the economy improved and there was an increase in revenues.
Leadership
The question I would like to ask everyone is this: Part of leadership is knowing when to speak out even though people won’t like what you have to say, and part of it is knowing when to stop talking and listen for a while. How do you know when to do which one?
