CARRBORO BOARD OF ALDERPERSONS
- Business Meeting: October 20, 2015, at 7:30 pm, Carrboro Town Hall
- The Board will receive an update on the progress of the Rogers Road sewer project.
- The Board will discuss Carrboro Vision2020 and it's utility for advancing social equity.
CHAPEL HILL TOWN COUNCIL
- Public Hearing: Monday, October 19, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Chapel Hill Town Hall
- The Council will receive a presentation from the manager about improvements and potential LUMO amendments related to the development approval process.
- The Council will open public hearings on the proposed AC Hotel at the corner of Rosemary and Church Streets and LUMO amendments related to the airport hazard overlay zone.
- The Council will also continue a public hearing on the potential annexation of the Duke Energy Calvander-Eubanks Substation property.
CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION
- There is no meeting this week. The next meeting will be on November 5th.
HILLSBOROUGH BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- There is no meeting this week. The next meeting will be the Monthly Work Session on October 26th.
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- Business Meeting: October 20th, 2015, at 7:00 pm,Southern Human Services
- The Board will receive a report on the NC Department of Transportation Orange County Public Transportation Assessment Study.
- The Board will receive an update on the progress of the Orange County Detention Center and provide feedback on the design.
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
- There is no meeting this week. The next meeting will be on October 26th.

- Early voting starts this Thursday, October 22nd! Early voting hours and locations, as well as sample ballots, are available on the Orange County Board of Elections website. The last day to early vote is Halloween.
