Some of the elected bodies are still on summer hiatus, but the Carrboro Board of Alderpersons, the Orange County Board of Commissioners, and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School Board are back this week.
Here's the full rundown:
CARRBORO BOARD OF ALDERPERSONS
- Meeting: Tuesday, September 1, 7:30 pm @ Carrboro Town Hall
- There will be a public hearing on the proposed Carrboro Mural Project at Jones Ferry Road and Highway 54.
- The Board will discuss setting a public hearing on a proposed new restuarant at 408 W. Weaver Street (former Summerwinds Pool & Spa).
- The Board will review feedback from the May 30th community input session on the redevelopment of the Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO BOARD OF EDUCATION
- Meeting: Tuesday, September 3, 2015 at 7:00 pm @ The Lincoln Center on Merritt Mill
ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
- Meeting: Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm @ The Whitted Building in Hillsborough
- The Board will receive a report from the Jail Alternatives Work Group.
- The Board will discuss the 2016 Bond Referendum <-- removed from agenda
CHAPEL HILL TOWN COUNCIL
