Budgets will be the primary topic covered this week by Orange County’s public bodies with the Carrboro Alderfolks, the Chapel Hill Town Council, Hillsborough Town Board and county commissioners all working on spending plans for the next fiscal years. Both school boards will take a break from meeting this week.

The Board will be asked to approve an amendment to the Legends Housing Development’s Conditional Use Permit to convert affordable units to market rate.

The Council will open public hearings on the manager’s recommended budget, an application from the County to amend their SUP for the Southern Orange County Government Services Campus, and the Municipal Service District for the Ephesus-Fordham area.
The Council will also review the concept plan for the proposed Weaver Crossing development at 171 Weaver Dairy Road.
