Subject to expected State approval, the Orange County Board of Elections has published the locations and dates/hours for early voting for the May 8 primary.
http://www.co.orange.nc.us/elect/documents/onestopsites2012.doc
I've simplified the list from the .doc file above. The Board of Elections has done a great job of spreading out the sites and staggering hours, such that in Chapel Hill/Carrboro there will be at least one place to vote weekdays from 9 am to 7 pm and in the Hillsborough/Cedar Grove area from 9 am to 6 pm.
The Board of Elections Office in Hillsborough has hours Thursday and Friday April 19 & 20, while all five locations get up and running from Monday April 23 through Saturday May 5.
Mail-in absentee voting will begin March 19 for those wanting to get a jump on voting. Full list of sites below:

Orange 5 early vote locations compared w/Durham (6) /Wake (9)
Orange has 5 early vote locations -- great job.Much larger Durham County has 6 locationshttp://co.durham.nc.us/departments/elec/2012_Election/One-stop%20Sites%20%28FINAL%29.pdf including the first on campus Duke location in quite awhile plus an NC Central on campus location. Durham has no hours past 5:30 pm until the last two days, but it's running THREE Saturday 9 to 5:30 at all locations plus TWO SUNDAYS noon to 4 and has its five satellite locations open for four days before Orange starts up its 4 satellite locationsWake however is running 9 locations, but not starting the 8 satellites until Friday April 27 http://www.wakegov.com/elections/earlyvoting/default.htm (but has one Sunday). There is no place open within a couple miles of the NCSU or Meredith campuses, but there are sites a few blocks from St Augustine's College and Shaw University
Correction...
Correction... I believe Durham County indicates their hours on the last Saturday as 9:00-1:00 (not 9:00-5:30).
