Here are our maps of the school board election results. Although they don't tell as interesting a story as the Chapel Hill maps, I wouldn't want to disappoint James Barrett by neglecting to publish them.
The table below shows the number of precincts in which the leading candidates for school board placed fifth or better.
Candidate | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | Total |
Burroughs | 12 | 13 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 29 |
Bedford | 3 | 7 | 8 | 6 | 5 | 29 |
Streater | 8 | 3 | 5 | 4 | 9 | 29 |
Kelley | 3 | 4 | 8 | 5 | 9 | 29 | Barrett | 5 | 2 | 6 | 11 | 5 | 29 |
The maps below are based on unofficial numbers from the Orange County Board of Elections as of November 8. Usual disclaimer: Because of the large number of early votes, the maps are inaccurate to the extent that early voters made different choices than people who voted on Election Day.
