Please call Congress Member David Price's office NOW this weekend and encourage him to support John Conyers House Resolution 635 calling for the creation of a select committee to investigate the administration. The Congressman needs to know that many in his district consider this the most important thing he can do this term and we will remember his vote come election day.

one of the "highest" rankings by the cato institute for trade issues behind John Sununu and Denny hastert...
the point fred is there are enough votes there that if a viable candidate ran they would have issues to identify.

Question for Ruby - why are some people allowed to post w/o first and last names?

Good question, David. People are pretty much "allowed" to post as anything they want, as long as they don't use someone else's name and they use a real e-mail address, which is validated the first time they comment.
You are welcome (maybe even encouraged) to ask people to reveal their identities. Those who can't or won't risk their credibility as participants in this community.
We have struggled with anonymity in the past (December '03 & July '04 for example), and it is still a delicate balance we have right now. Things could still change if I had the time and energy to do the necessary programming.
